With a  dream to change my world, make a mark & be the best in the area of work, I stepped into the world of IL&FS Investsmart in the year 2003 as a Management Trainee. Started  as  a  back  office  support  for  Sales,  I always had an urge to understand  the  various  financial products offered to the clients. I knew that “Relationship”  is  the key for the success of any Financial Services Organization.I wanted to be on the “Relationship” side. Soon,  I  got  an  opportunity to move into sales and since then there’s no looking  back  and  my  experiences  with  Investsmart   is like a graph of a secular Bull market. IL&FS Investsmart provided me a platform to upgrade my skills  &  capabilities. I have always believed that learning is an ongoing process, the more you understand and appreciate things the more you develop your interest to learn further.  IL&FS has been the treasure of information and learning.

I owe a special gratitude to the strong Leadership and mentors who stood by me like a pillar & had given  me  focused approach towards my career. They instilled the confidence in  me  that  I  can  achieve much higher results than what could have been visualized by me with enhanced vision & managerial capabilities. Today I am responsible for Institutional desk of IAG Business and have deep satisfaction in the fact that the AUM has grown from negligible amount to RS 1800 cr as Feb 08 and there’s no stooping here too.

I  feel  much  confident,  much wiser and full of ideas and zeal to achieve much  higher target in future which had happened with support of my seniors & ever helping team members. Eventually in life, the secret to success is to play a role bigger than the one you have imagined which IL&FS Investsmart has given to me.

True to my expectations, I have been presented with many opportunities to rise and justify the faith placed in my capabilities. Investsmart pushes one to accept challenges head on and explore new opportunities at all levels. Different scenarios, which required me to foresee challenges and take decisive corrective measures, have contributed tremendously to my professional growth.

 An open culture that encourages one to be innovative and a work environment that inculcates team spirit is what makes Investsmart a great organization to work for.

I am in my 7th year at Investsmart and enjoy working for a variety of reasons. I had joined as Relationship manger, graduated to Branch Manager and then as Area Head for Mumbai.

First, the environment itself is a company that is set up like a family. I enjoy the flexibility and creativity that is given to me by my peers and team leader.
